Daughters & Ryan, a tobacco company based in Smithfield, N.C., earned a reputation in the roll-your-own tobacco segment for providing top-quality blends for discerning connoisseurs. Now Mark Ryan, owner of the company, is bringing his blends to the pipe tobacco market in 40-gram tins, 3.5-ounce canisters and 14-ounce bags.
Windsail features blends of 100 percent flue-cured gold leaf tobacco. Rimbouche A.P. features a blend of flue-cured gold-leaf Virginias and Acadian Perique from St. James Parish, La. Athey Old Timer’s Blend is a secret recipe of tobaccos that form an aromatic and flavorful blend. Two Timer is a blend of air-cured Burley tobaccos that are double-toasted to enhance the flavor, character and complexity. Rowland is a classic European-style Virginia-based blend of flue-cured tobaccos balanced with air-cured Burley tobaccos and enhanced by complementary flavoring. Ramback features a blend of superior Turkish tobaccos that feature exotic natural flavors and a smooth Oriental tobacco taste.
