Falcon facts - Winter 2010

Letters from readers
Hunter K. Anstine

When my new P&T arrives, the first thing I do is thumb through the pages looking at the wonderful pictures of the pipes. Next I always read the Editor’s Desk offering before any articles; I love those stories. I feel like Chuck and I are friends even though we have never met. The story about the haunted well was fantastic!

Have you read the recently published book Back From The Ashes: Uncovering the Lost History of G.L. Hunt and the Falcon Pipe by K.A. Worth? It is the kind of thing that is unexpectedly interesting to any of us who have fond memories of the legions of Falcon smokers in the ‘60s and ‘70s.

I have been a P&T subscriber from the beginning; I hope the “Pleasure Police” never get you guys. Fight long and strong.
